Hello, Tutors!

                It will soon be Thanksgiving.  Many of you will be taking a break from tutoring over the holidays; but before you do, I hope you will try to work this “gift” from Film English into your classes.  It is so appropriate for Thanksgiving—the film is called Gratitude—and it invites you and your students to ask yourselves, “What am I grateful for”?  You may be familiar with the work of photographer and film maker, Louie Schwartzberg, famous for his beautiful time-lapse photography.  This film is from a TED talk he did in June 2011, but the topic is timeless.
