“Who’s not Online and Why”

Hi, tutors,

Obviously the following statistic does not apply to you because you went online to get to this blog, but did you know that “[as] of May 2013, 15% of American adults ages 18 and older do not use the internet or email”?  That seems hard to believe when everywhere we go we see someone in front of the glowing screen of a monitor, laptop, tablet or smart phone.  The table below gives you a snapshot of some of the reasons why those adults don’t go online.E85910F93C004BD0BE38957DB69A707C

Did you know TLC has a computer lab?  If you know someone who finds using a computer frustrating, or who lacks computer skills altogether, let them know that we have a Computer Skills tutor at TLC every Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m. til noon.  We can arrange other times by appointment.

It’s hump day today!  Have a good rest of the week, lder
